Welcome
Ascot Park Kindergarten is a full time centre operated by the Department of Education & Children's Services (DECD). The centre is located in close proximity to a range of community and educational services and next to a major bus route.
We provide a quality Early Childhood educational program, meeting the needs of children, families and the wider community through a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
We foster opportunities for children to learn through a play based approach (lots of hands on and active experiences) and aim to provide a safe, caring and exciting environment where your child is the central focus.
We celebrate and promote diversity and strive to provide a program which is culturally inclusive recognising the different societal and family structures within our community.

Children at Ascot Park Kindergarten are entitled to twelve months of Preschool, consisting of up to five sessions per week for four terms.
Children must be four years of age before commencing Preschool sessions.
There are variations to this policy where determining factors need to be considered such as additional needs and Indigenous children.
It is useful to make a decision in regard to the School that your child may be attending and to enquire into their enrolment practice to start Reception.
Children must be five years of age on their first day of term to start at the local public school. You need to count back four terms from the school start term to arrive at the Preschool term start.
